Here are some tips for planning a bridal shower that will not only be a lot of fun to attend, but will be remembered for years as a fabulous event.
Focus on the Menu and Decor
Additionally, don’t skimp on decor. Make sure that no matter where you host the shower, the venue is tastefully decorated to give the event that special bridal shower feel. You can use everything from inexpensive streamers and balloons, to lush flower arrangements, depending on your budget.
Bridal Showers Should be Fun
Consider dividing the guests into teams, giving each of them a roll of toilet paper, and challenging them to use it to make the bride a “wedding dress” in 10 minutes or less. Photograph each “dress” and vote on the winning dress after everyone has had a chance to take a go at making one.
Another fun idea is to play a game of “who knows the bride best?” Ask the bridal shower guests questions about the bride, such as, “Where did the bride and groom meet?” or “What is the bride’s favorite color?”
Be sure to include a wide variety of questions that give everyone from family to friends a chance at knowing the correct answers. Whoever comes up with the highest number of correct answers wins a prize!
Put your thinking cap on and come up with more ideas of your own!
